Silway 660 is a long-chain alkyl aryl silicone oil (CAS.68037-76-3). Compared with traditional polydimethylsiloxane, the introduction of long-chain alkyl and aryl groups into its molecular structure endows it with excellent properties. As a die-casting lubricant/release agent, it is suitable for die casting of soft metals such as aluminum, zinc, and magnesium. It can make the surface of released products bright, prevent carbonization on the mold surface, and does not affect secondary printing and finishing. Before use, it needs to be emulsified or diluted with non-ionic surfactants or aliphatic hydrocarbons.
