Silway 6156 is a water-based silicone resin dispersion designed as a composite material release agent. It boasts environmental friendliness, safety and non-toxicity, forming a smooth film on mold surfaces to effectively protect molds and improve production efficiency.
Typical Applications
- Suitable for demolding thermosetting resins (e.g., phenol-formaldehyde resin, unsaturated resin) and fiber composite materials, such as brake pads, cutting discs, friction materials, etc.
Usage
Dilute Silway 6156 with water by approximately 50 times. It is recommended that the nozzle be 20-30cm away from the mold surface. Spray orderly from one side of the mold to the other. Production can start when the coating is dry and non-sticky. The dilution ratio can be adjusted by the customer according to actual conditions.
